  • 1 december 2007: first step of the roadmap: we decide to make a text-only bricophone as a first draw. Little keyboard, and little screen. Freeduino inside.
  • November 2007: potential funding by netherland mecenes.
  • 23 November 2007: second bricophone workshop in Waag, Amasterdam, with streaming to San Paolo, Brazil during Mobilefest : hardware and software prototyping
  • September 2007: first bricophone workshop, to the initiative of Bricolabs network, in FoAM, Bruxelles: concepts, roadmaps, technical and ethical debate.
  • August 2007: First researches and contacts. Philippe Langlois, artist and network ingineer from http://xlrmx.org joins the project.
  • June 2007: launch of the project in Saint Ouen (Paris) with Brazilian contacts and Bricolabs network.
  • May 2008: First level of the code working. ( independant from hardware)
  • June 2008: Bricophone workshop during the hacker space festival in Vitry in France
  • December 2008: Bricophone workshop during CCC in Berlin
  • March 2009: meeting with sponsor NLnet foundation, brainstorming workshop on the project during Wintercamp Amsterdam 2009
  • 2010: stop of the support of NLnet because the project has not progressed. NLnet will support us again if we work on the project.
  • End of 2010: the bricophone discussion re-emerges in Bricolabs list, let's see if new personnalities, new developpers join the project.
